My building career began with my mother’s gift of a carpentry set when I was about six years old. I built my dad a little box for paperclips (that he still has over 30 years later) and I never stopped building. As a kid I was our in-home handyman and could often be found high in a tree building a new tree fort. My high school vocational program gave me the technical skills I needed to start taking customers, and before long I was winning bids for large-scale deck replacements and house painting. As my skill set grew I developed a penchant for working with clients on custom, one-of-a-kind projects that add beauty and value to their homes.
